From download to pairing, the whole setup takes about five minutes. Follow the six steps in order — and if anything blocks the install, the two fixes below solve the most common Android issues.
How to install the Child app

Download & install
Download Access Control (Child App) from the link and install it on the child device. If the install fails, follow the fixes below.

Allow all permissions
Open the app and allow every required permission — each one powers a monitoring module.

Log in to the dashboard
Open the Parent Dashboard and log in with your parent account.

Get the 6-digit code
From the Parent Dashboard, take the 6-digit pairing code.

Pair the device
Enter the pairing code in the Child App and tap “Pair Device”.

Connected
Pairing complete — the child device is now linked to your Parent Dashboard.

Android blocks some parental-control installs by default. These two quick fixes resolve the most common failures.
Turn off Play Protect scanning

Open the Play Store on the phone.

Tap the Profile icon at the top right.

Tap “Play Protect” from the menu.

On the Play Protect page, tap the ⚙ Settings icon at the top right.

Turn off “Scan apps with Play Protect”.
- 6
When the confirmation appears, tap “Turn off” / “Pause”.
Re-enable Play Protect once setup is complete to stay protected.
Allow Accessibility (restricted settings)

If the Accessibility permission is not allowed, long-press the app icon.

Go to “App Info” / “ⓘ”.

Tap the three dots (⋮) at the top right.

Tap “Allow restricted settings”.

Then tap “Allow”.

Return to the Access Control app and allow the Accessibility permission.
